Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare’s leadership team is always searching for ways to deliver better outcomes to the communities it serves and to build a stronger company. They believe a strong ESG program establishes a foundation for decisions and behaviors.

Working together, Osprey and Drive were able to evaluate the ESG landscape, understand stakeholder expectations, evaluate materiality, and define a base-year ESG program that is both achievable and meaningful.

Challenge

Drive’s Leadership team and its key stakeholders were committed to developing an ESG program and needed expert assistance to define an achievable ESG Program that reflects Drive’s values. The challenges for this project included:

  • The need to develop a thorough understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and domain topics
  • The need to identify achievable base year key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • The complexity of establishing an efficient, organization-wide ESG Program

Utilizing Osprey’s QuickStart methodology, Drive and Osprey were able to quickly identify Drive’s ESG intentions and key stakeholders, and select the appropriate standards and frameworks.  Informed by those decisions, the team was able to efficiently perform a material assessment, map data availability and identify a milestone-based roadmap for the coming year.

Drive’s ESG leaders were quickly able to understand the ESG landscape, understand how it applies to a global organization, make strategic decisions, and confidently present recommendations to the Executive leadership team and the Board. Additionally, they have the framework for their ESG Program and a prescriptive set of activities to follow to implement their program and begin sharing their ESG plan and outcomes.
