Organogenesis ZTNA Implementation

Zero Trust Network Access

Challenge

Organogenesis needed a resource to manage an IT infrastructure project. The project entailed replacing their existing employee access solution with an advanced ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) solution. The objective was to provide more robust security in the areas of remote access, internet access, and a secure non-VPN connectivity option for 3rd parties.

The effort would require managing internal security and infrastructure staff, defining and coordinating internal staff activities, reconciling planning, and coordinating with the third-party vendor.

“The primary objective was to address security risk concerns within a 2-3 month timeframe.”

Solution

Osprey’s Project Manager met with internal staff and the vendor’s project manager to develop a plan, budget, and timeline that met the organizational objectives.  This included CIO-level buy-in, as one of the key objectives was to address security risks within a short window of time.

  • Developed a project plan and loaded resource plan that was signed off by all stakeholders
  • Delivered weekly status updates to the senior IT team
  • Completed project in a timely manner in a phased approach, addressing the highest risk groups first
