Challenge
Partners Healthcare was using ‘Insight’ to manage some of its clinical trials but was not equipped to manage the hundreds of clinical trials under their control. The client surveyed the market but could not identify a packaged solution that met their needs. They engaged Osprey to develop add-on modules within Insight to manage their Humans and Animals clinical trials.

Solution
Osprey developed software modules for:
- creating research protocols
- managing the Institutional Review Board approval processes
- building, revising and tracking project budgets
- tracking research grants and contracts including purchasing and personnel
- compliance tracking and reporting
- and supporting interfaces with the enterprise financial and HR systems.
